Yes ... what item was missing on the boat and you will fit for next season - OK - I'll let you say what you'd LIKE to fit .............
Me ? actually not so much in way of serious "boat" item ... my item that will be fitted is a decent radio with MP3 / CD capability ... I like to have something on in background that I can enjoy listening to ... and I have loads of MP3 stuff ...
An item that is really a gimmick / boy's toy thing is the Radio Nav Interface ... certainly not essential ...

There is a growing pile of stuff in my spare bedroom at the moment.
4x auto-lifejackets with harnesses, crotch straps & safety lines to replace somewhat elderly lifejackets currently used.
Rubber snake to scare off the seagulls
Plastic fairlead block for Roller reefing line (to replace block held on by jubilee clip - thanks to SBC for web link to that)
New ensign & staff to replace Nauticalia "pink ensign" (faded after 15 years of abuse)
Replacement sea water pump (old one corroded up due to mixed metals)
New wash boards in production (old ones finally rotting away)
New spray hood & dodgers (possibly complete cockpit enclosure) - saving up for this one!
LED cabin lights (need to modify bulb holders for these)
Also bidding for a swivel anchor link to replace the bow shackle that currently jams in the stem head fitting.

The furling blocks ... have a neat trick ... I thought one was b*****d after one of my guys kicked it of ... The clamp stayed on the stanchion ... block laying on the deck. Found that slacking the clamp so the ends could close together - the block clicked back on .. tighten clamp on stanchion again - all fine - block held as new.

Still have a long list to finish off.
Wire boat up, still running on "temporary" wiring. Nav lights to be fitted. Water system, bog, gas heater..... Going to fit a winch (and spinlock clutch, thanks to generous SBC member....) to assist arthritic hands hoisting sail.
Might get some more sailing done as well, managed a trip down the river today instead of painting Tommy's deck! ;D

Only major job is to replace my greaser stern gland that won't stop drip drip dripping with a Volvo dripless jobbie. Not much room to get to it and skinned knuckles imperative. I'll get a dry bilge one day
