Idea is to make a round trip .....
Venstpils (Latvia West coast) up to Saaremaa (Estonian island north of Riga bay), then to Hirumaa (next Estonian Island) before crossing to Finnish islands and Mariehamn. From there to wandeer the Alands Islands and down into Stockholm Archipelago. The return to Ventspils being via mid-south Archipelago to Gotland and then to Ventspils.
The trip will be long but I'm sure interesting ... bringing in some of the best cruising grounds ever.
Timetable ? Overall would need about 3 weeks. Shortest I would put at :
Ventspils to Saaremaa 1 day - night stop Saaremaa to Hirumaa 1 day - night stop Hirumaa to Mariehamn 1 day - night stop Mareihamn to Aland 3 days with stopovers Aland to Stockholm 3 days with stopovers Stockholm to Nynashamn 3 days with stopovers Nynashamn to Gotland 1 day Gotland to Ventspils 1 day
So minimum is 14 days ... allow odd days to stop and enjoy + any weather and 20 - 21 days seems fair.
This is late July and early August period when water is warm and weather window is usually best.
I have 2 places on board .... and it's possible to take sections if not all ... Ryanair / Easyjet serve the region.
Any takers ?? Shared on-board costs ... air-tickets own responsibility though. I can provide sleeping bags and Life-Jackets (manual inflate).
