SBc has had a very good year .. and is developing nicely.
Meetings have been and still to be held in various locations incl. international. There are many forums / clubs that would like to boast similar ...
Well done to everyone ... and for those lucky ones who don't have to lift out - I wish great out of season sailing ... you lucky people !
So winter is coming upon us .. and maybe we'll have more time to ask those questions .. answer for others questions ... put fwd ideas and thoughts ... What else to do during those cold evenings ?
Of course some of us will be planning next years trips ... mapping out the routes .. imagining all sorts of great things ...
That's the beauty of messing about in boats - it doesn't stop. ;D

And when your sailing season draws to a close, ours is just about starting, although we are still in the northern hemisphere - the nicest time for sailing in the Windies is December - April, when the trades are (or should be) blowing happily, and the temps are not so scorchio.
If any Forumites are considering a winter sojourn in low latitudes, the Windies are had to beat, and Barbados is quite a nice place to escape for a few weeks to. Our boat should still be in the water (am probably not going to haul out now until about April) so if we are in, anybody is most welcome to come for a sail.

Not planning to winter sail (too risky to leave the rags on) but she is staying on the water and I plan a few days out, motoring.

Went to Boston today with the intention of painting Tommy's deck.
Took Yuan Hang downriver instead. ;D Hardly enough wind to sail, but enough.....
Half-planned a trip for next week, Brancaster for a night out.

A couple of hours out on the river today - couldn't get out of the marina until 1500 - came back in at 1700 with nav lights on. Warmer than many summer days but v little wind. Ah but a couple of hours on the water - good for the soul. Envy you a trip to Brancaster - there a couple of weeks ago in the car - sale on in the chandlers spells trouble. Lovely weekend ahead but the tides all wrong and a wedding to enjoy on Saturday - now where is that tie...........

Ah but a couple of hours on the water - good for the soul. Ain't that the truth! Envy you a trip to Brancaster - there a couple of weeks ago in the car - sale on in the chandlers spells trouble. Will probably stay on the boat and have some peace! ;D
