So I ordered following .....
Font : Lucida Caligraphy
Name strip is 500mm long
Text in Mid-dark blue
Boat name : SUPERANNE
2 strips are supplied for the ~ 4.99 price + P&P ...
Well ... they look nice .. but are smaller than I expected ... so I may use them as "bow-name" stickers ... and leave the old damaged "Car reg'n number letter" sticker name on asre-end !!

Should have used Boat Names on the IoW. That's what I used for mine and you decide the height of the letters. Probably a bit more expensive though.

The service was good ... sturdy box air-mailed over for Β£3 ... so stickers weren't creased etc. Font and colour are fine ... They are just smaller than I expected !! When you think 50cm long - you imagine large letters !! Here is where I am thinking of placing it ... AND you get a glimpse of the WHITE hull and scraped / sanded / stained rubbing strake !! Looking good eh !!

Less is more...... It looks fine. I was in a bit of a quandry ... when I got the stickers today ... I thought UGH ! How can I put it on the transom ?? Too small. Then I had briefly considered bow - either side ... well once I got home and realised the strake above the teak is wide enough ... Svet and I agreed looks ok there. She reckons little bit more aft ... I reckon a little more fwd to line up with pulpit more .. making it more symetrical ...and giving me an auto line for other side ! Svet also wants me to NOT change the old lettering on transom .. she reckons it's part of SA 's character ............ Yeh Well !!

Bloody Hell Nigel, it looks fantastic. I must admit I am quite chuffed about it !! .... here's another of the rubbing strake ... which I was dreading job of, but paint prev. guy used and being so weathered and old literally comes off reasonably easy - in fact the mouse sander does a very good job on it ....> So it's Friday ... and Easter ... official Holiday ... no office today apart from quick visit to pick up any fax's etc. (I'm lucky - I only live 5 mins from it ...) So will be boat-work today ...
