I have a bilge keeler as most know ...
I'm a bit limited on locations ...
a) Port fwd of bilge keel near wc inlet b) Stbd fwd little aft of that just inboard of keel front edge c) Port side of centre at engine front d) Stbd mid way to outer in line with engine
Rest of inner hull is blocked of with lockers etc.
Where's yours located ?

Mine's Port Side, in forward locker, so in front of P/S bilge keel.

I don't think it matters. Make it easy to access in case of problems & easy to cable up. As it should be vertical, I guess I would aim for the centre line if possible - although the gel coat may be extra thick there.
