The engine I fitted has a non standard alt fitted but having connected up the control panel at the weekend some of the wiring is wrong becouse the oil light and alarm comes on even with the key removed. I have now checked the panel which works in the correct way so some of the wires at the engine end must be wrong. It all fairly simple, temp and oil switches go -ve on fault, the heaters are just a switch though the key switch as is the feed to the starter solenoid. The is a feed to the alt field (assume D) via teh charge light on the panel. And I guess B+ to the battery+ve and B- to the battery -ve.
