Wasn't there one of them Vietnam films about POWs being compelled to wade about in a flooded minefield? He should have done the washing up but seems a bit harsh to me.

It may I suppose be an RYA practical examination that's gone wrong... "Now Sir, with the engine off, I'd like you to do a man overboard demonstration and then pick up a mooring"...

It's a sacrifice to the water gods to stop the rain. ;D Maybe there's a kraken like sea monster a-lurking in there. I knew I should have hung about to watch what happened next. Anyway, I've obviously offended the water gods... last time but one I went out it was cold, windy and unpleasant, this time it poured down. Record breaking hot sunshiny days, gentle breeze and flat seas any other time at the moment...
