Welcome, bobalong. Looks like you might have lots in common with forumites here. No nasty nit-pickers here so if you want to post anything from the profound to the trivial.....go ahead.

Welcome, bobalong. Looks like you might have lots in common with forumites here. You could say that! ;D I sail a junk rigged Coromandel from Saltfleet, just the other end of Donna Nook bombing range from you. Sail single-handed most of the time, last year sailed to the Tyne and anchored in Runswick Bay on the way up and on the way back! Welcome in, I think we might get on.

Welcome to SBC. That sounds a good trip and Runswick Bay looks a great spot. I managed to get up to the Humber last year (from Wells) but went up it rather than past it so Scarborough and Whitby et al are still languishing somewhere on my never ending to-do list.

Welcome aboard, your monica is very appropriate for this forum. No hot-shot racers here! Have a good look around & see what you find, there are some excellent cruise reports, book swops & banter. This is my favourite forum & not to busy so no need to sift thro all the dross. Look forward to another load of old Junk trips in the future! ;-)
